Mom and Dad came in on January 7th and left the 15th. We LOVED having them come and visit us in Japan again and already can't wait to see them this summer. This was their first chance to meet Cade, as well. Neither he nor they were disappointed!
On Sunday, we had the opportunity to have Cade's blessing. The outfit was too small (couldn't button the back button and the length looked more like capris than pants), I forgot to bring his little white shoes and he was hungry before it even started...but all went well and we were so glad that Mom and Dad were here for it. After church, we took some pictures and just kicked back.
The kids were supposed to go back to school on Tuesday but I made the executive decision that they would stay home the whole week to spend time with my parents instead. We had a blast. We played lots of games (Trigger and Spot It are our new favorites), we did homework to keep the kids up to date, we visited a few places(Kobe Bird Park, Harborland, Grocery store), we ATE, and the best thing of all....Poppa was the first and so far the only one to get Cade to laugh!
We had such a great time and now we get to look forward to Eric and Lesley coming in just 2 1/2 months for Spring Break!
Boy are we ever Lucky Ducks this year!
