Birthdays!

Isaac and Brynn celebrated their birthdays right before and right after arriving in Hawaii. Brynnie chose to celebrate hers on the 14th which was a Sunday. She chose cereal and muffins for breakfast, macaroni and cheese for lunch, and waffles for dinner...yum, yum! We surprised her with a heart shaped heart-cupcake cake with purple frosting and sprinkles. She got a deer Webkinz from Tanner, a hula hoop from Bryce and I, and Legos from Isaac.

Isaac decided to forego having his birthday until he could be with both sets of grandparents on the weekend of the 20th of December. He did open his presents with us before leaving (hey, it saved on space!). He got stacking cups from Brynn, Legos from Tanner, and a set of scriptures from Bryce and I. His menu for the day: he had Mimi's egg casserole for breakfast, hot dogs for lunch, and Calzone for dinner (the rest of us enjoyed steak and baked potatoes). He chose a marble cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. He also received several other gifts from both sets of grandparents and my brother and sister-in-law for his baptism that day, too.
They had great birthdays although I think the greatest gift was just all of us being together!
