After getting my hair and Brynn's hair done, playing outside and doing a few errands last Saturday, we decided to go out to a Japanese restaurant. Sadly, this is the first attempt we have made to go foreign with the children since being here! We were told by a friend and neighbor to go to Kagura's....that the kids would like it and that the food and atmosphere were great. We were not disappointed! We arrived at 5:30 and were seated at a sunken table with a huge grill/stainless steel surface in the middle...picture Benihana's or Hani Yori's. We were given a menu and chose a steak/seafood

set for Bryce and I and kids meals for the children. The cook/chef came out and started preparing our dinner for us in front of us. We had soup, appetizers and then the real fun came.

He made the shrimp do exercises, he was tossing the salt and pepper shakers, he flipped lemon into his hat and pulled out candy for the kids, etc. We were quite impressed and the food was delicious. The grand finale was when they turned off the lights and poured something on the grill and it burst into flames. The kids eyes were big as saucers. After dinner and dessert, the waitresses brought out silly Halloween hats and took our picture for us and then made balloon animals for the kids. Isaac says it is now his favorite restaurant. We had a great time!
