We continue to love our trips home each summer to visit Mimi and Poppa and treasure each day we spend with them. This summer was a bit crazy but we did get to see so many of our loved ones. We arrived on the first of July so we were able to enjoy the 4th's festivities.
My favorite quote from the summer was from Tanner. At the fireworks show, some children were running around with Sparklers. Tanner said, "MOM! Why are those kids running around with sticks of fire?" HA!!! Yep, been living outside the US a little too long :)

| Tanner with his friend Lightning Bug. |
| The kids helping Poppa put in a new border in the back yard. Boy did he keep them busy that day! Tanner was given a hammer and tried his hardest to take out their tree stump from some storm damage. He didn't do half bad, either! |
| Cade being reunited with Gus and Lola. He called them both Whoa-wa for the entire time we were with them. |
| A trip home to the US is never complete without a trip to the County Fair. Lots of food, fun and family time! |
| Couldn't get Cade off this ride. The guy was terribly nice and left him on for several more minutes and didn't even make us pay the tickets for it. Cade was in HEAVEN! |
| The blue ball that Cade won on the duck dipping game. |
| Another favorite part about this trip was some of the Kewaunee Crew (Grandma, Aunts and Uncles) taking time to drive down to see us. It was so wonderful to see them since we have missed them so much. Feel so grateful that they were able to come! |
| Brynnie and Mimi. Seriously, if ever a carbon copy was made between a granddaughter and grandmother as far as personality goes....THIS IS IT! |

| Sparklers with Aunt Lesley |
| Kisses from Gus |
| Cool Dude! |
| Uncle Eric with his buds |
| Counting the "bubbles' on Poppa's tie before he left for work. I noticed that Poppa wore that tie SEVERAL times while we were home :0) |
| Clowning around |
| We went bowling, too! |
We are so thankful for all the love, food, and fun that Mimi and Poppa share with us each summer. Every time we get home, we always say that "This summer was our favorite!" Can it really get any better?
